![]() She lied flat out as hours later the refund was granted through PayPal. When I called back Beth Abbott denied that Buddy ever said he was giving me a refund. Called back and spoke to Skyler who also ignored my request and told me, "the conversation is over" I emailed them requesting an ETA of my refund that they promised and had to open up a PayPal request. ![]() I asked for it in writing but he ignored this request and said he was hanging up. Called them on 7/20/18 for refund and they were rude and would not even refund my shipping! I called back on 7/30/18 and spoke to the owner, Buddy who accused me of being the rude party but promised me a refund. ![]() Obviously the words were NOT written on the package as promised by Beth. The package was left outside and went missing. My local post office looks for this on any packages of mine they get and WILL hold it at the post office if they see the words on the package. I still have this email in my Hotmail account. Beth Abbott from M圜 said over email she would. I guess because of the seller rating being a more crucial deciding factor whether customers buy or not buy from them.Īsked them over email to put "Do not leave outside" on the package. I find that buying from ebay they tend to care slightly more. I think when people are packaging the books they tend to not look at the cover images as the customer does when they order so it it says "Dark Horse Presents #12" from 1980 something you may receive the second series that came decades later, but this was only two times I ordered comics from the site. Of course they were super cheap books, but that happens some times. I have gotten partial credit for some of those or full credit to buy new ones while keeping the ones they sent. I had two weird experiences not related to shipping where I ordered two books with similar titles from different companies or from different years or series and received the wrong ones. The comics were slightly dinged on one corner, but the comic boards had to be replaced. I attached my last order that came yesterday. If they get the books more protected things I wouldn't complain. They have offered refunded, but usually it's a hassle I rather not do. ![]() If I were a reseller or a comic book perfectionist I would be pissed. Too many times have I gotten books slightly damaged. MCS or Lone Star Comics need to package the bottom and sides better on comics. Sure the couriers could be more careful, but the responsibility is on the seller. They are tightly packaged which is good, but the bottom of the boxes and sides of comics and boards on about 50% of the books I order get a small bend or something on one corner. Although they boast about being "nuke-proof" they are quite average. Aside from that I have always received my books generally acceptable time. ![]() The want list is easy to access although I wish the tab was one-click less. ![]()
